Columbia, MD - The Dragons rode a dominant first half in which they were up by as many as 19 points and then cruised the rest of the way to a 96-86 victory.
Howard put together a complete team performance with five players in double figures led by
Amar Shivers (Washington, DC/Central) with 24 points including a quartet of three pointers.
Jordan Reid (Silver Spring, MD/Albert Einstein) added 20 points and eight assists while forward
Jaden Stonework (Clinton, MD/Gwynn Park) came off the bench to record his first collegiate double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds.)
Jesse Calloway (Lynchburg, VA/Heritage) was in on the action plenty with 11 points and five assists with
Jareem Lovette (Warsaw, NC/James Kenan) rounding out the scoring with 10 points.
The Dragons shot 57% from the floor thanks to 44 points in the paint and shot 85% from the free throw line.
Howard will next play on Saturday, November 10 at 3 PM in the final game of the Dragon Invitational as they take on Nassau.
