Hagertown, MD - The Dragons out-shot Hagerstown 35-2 in a one-sided affair including four more goals for the freshman phenom
Madalyn Nichols (Mt. Airy, MD/Glenelg).
Howard scored six goals in the first half with Nichols scoring the first couple on unassisted goals.
Rebecca Herriotts (Glenwood, MD/Mt. Airy Christian) scored on a
Kayla Hatmaker (Woodbine, MD/Century) assist then
Kylie Toler (Fulton, MD/Reservoir) got on the scoreboard thanks to some help by
Allison Sturm (Mt. Airy, MD/South Carroll).
Rylee Nieman (Mt. Airy, MD/South Carroll) continued to increase her presence on the front of the Dragons forward line as she scored a couple goals to end the first half.
Nichols would score another unassisted goal seven minutes into the second half and would score her fourth 16 minutes later on a
Josie Stubs (Dayton, MD/Glenelg) assist.
Emily Delaney (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville) scored her fourth of the season on a
Lillian Scott (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville) assist before they swapped roles in the 80th minute for Scott's fourth goal of the year. Hatmaker would find the back of the net with just seven seconds left in the game on a long
Clara Janush (Laurel, MD/Reservoir) free kick as the defender was rarely called to action in the contest on the defensive side of the field.
Howard will next travel to CCBC Catonsville for a make-up game on Monday, October 21 at 4 PM.
