Columbia, MD - The Dragons gave up two second half goals as they fell to a middling Hagerstown team 2-1. 

Howard started out strong, recording the initial four shots in the contest as they looked to have all the momentum. The breakthrough came in the 40th minute as an Anderson Marroquin (Elkridge, MD/Hammond) shot was blocked with the rebound falling to Kevin Ngatou (Laurel, MD/Laurel) who fired into the net for his fourth goal of the season.

Hagerstown fired back early in the second half as they would score in the 56th minute and the 59th minute to stun a disheartened Dragons side. 

The Dragons had a really good look at tying the game late, but a Bradley Muma (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch) header was saved by the Hawks goalkeeper to maintain the lead. 

Howard will try to recover from this loss as they face a tough test at Prince George's on Tuesday, October 8 at 3 PM.
