Keyser, WV – The Dragons were unable to overcome a slow start, as they fell to the Potomac State Catamounts 73-58 in a tough regional contest.
 
Howard struggled shooting the ball in the first quarter before starting to find their touch in the second quarter. Brianna Jones (Largo, MD/Largo) got in foul trouble early on and managed only a single point in a rare off night for the sophomore star.
 
Ashlyn McInerney (Hyattsville, MD/Hammond) led the team with a season high 20 points and seven rebounds with Mia McCormick (Philadelphia, PA/River Hill) adding 13 points. Ciara Little (New Haven, CT/James Hillhouse) scored 10 points with four steals and Kyrstin Bowen (Westminster, MD/Mount Airy Christian) chipped in eight points and six rebounds.
 
The Dragons will return home to host Hagerstown on Wednesday, December 18 at 5 PM for their fourth conference game of the season.
