Jeremy Sforzo (Vail, CO/Battle Mountain) and
Bobby Solomon (Fairfax, VA/Woodson) combined to score 11 goals to help the Dragons in a comfortable win over #10 ranked Potomac State 22-3.
The Dragons scored the first 15 goals of the game, keeping the Catamounts shut out until the fourth quarter.
Joseph Montesano (Edgewater, MD/Damascus) scored a couple of early goals to get Howard going on his way to a six point game. The second quarter was the Sforzo show as he scored three straight goals to close out the first half on his way to a five goal, two assist night.
Solomon scored a couple of man-up goals early in the third quarter as he finished with six goals and two assists while
Jack Watsic (Frederick, MD/Linganore) added two goals and two assists to the effort.
Tim Russell (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville) saved all eight shots that were put on his net to earn his second win of the season while the face-off crew of the Dragons had their best performance of the season, combining to win 21-26 from the circle.
The Dragons will face one of their biggest tests and most important games of the season as they next travel to #2 ranked Harford on Friday, March 22 at 7 PM.
