Columbia, MD - The Dragons shooting went cold at a tough time as they fell to the Frederick Cougars 63-22.
The Cougars had only five players active in the game, but were able to put together a solid team effort as three players had double-doubles led by center Nia Powell with 22 points and 31 rebounds.
Howard suffered from poor shooting from the start and could not seem to turn it around.
Ashlyn McInerney (Hyattsville, MD/Hammond)Â led the team with 10 points and
Mia McCormick (Philadelphia, PA/River Hill) managed to pull down 11 rebounds.
The Dragons will next host Thomas Nelson CC on Wednesday, January 22 at 5 PM.
