Columbia, MD - A great all around defensive performance for the Dragons allowed them to cruise to a comfortable 73-34 victory over the Thomas Nelson CC Gators. 

Brianna Jones (Largo, MD/Largo) stole the spotlight for the game with a triple-double performance including 25 points, 20 rebounds and 10 steals in an amazing individual performance. However, this was still a great team victory as all nine Dragons scored in the game.

Kyrstin Bowen (Westminster, MD/Mount Airy Christian) nearly had a triple-double herself and settled for a double-double with 11 points, 16 rebounds and six blocks while Mia McCormick (Philadelphia, PA/River Hill) matched the feat with 10 points and 13 rebounds along with a team high four assists. Ashley McInerney added 15 points to the cause.

Howard will continue the prolonged home stand as they host Prince George's on Monday, January 27 at 5 PM. The two teams will rematch after a thrilling 76-73 Owls win back in December.
