Columbia, MD - A strong performance in the paint led by Daeshawn Eaton (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) muscled the Dragons past the Gators 75-56.

Eaton scored 18 points along with nine first half rebounds as he surged Howard forward to 48 points in the paint for the game. In a contest that the Dragons did not hit a single three pointer in the first half and shot just 2-15 from behind the arc in the game, Howard worked the ball inside and found a ton of success around the rim.

Deven Richmond (Bowie, MD/DeMatha) threw down 14 points with Kelvin Sellman (Temple Hills, MD/Crossland) adding 12. Christian Matthews (Clinton, MD/National Christian) added seven points, 11 rebounds and six assists as 10 different Dragons scored in the game.

Howard will hit the road for a critical regional opponent as they go to CCBC Dundalk on Saturday, January 25 for a 1 PM game.
