Columbia, MD - Five Dragons scored in double-digits as Howard cruised to another home victory in a 98-73 win over the Northern Virginia Nighthawks as Howard improves to 11-0 in the Dragons Lair on the season.
Howard jumped out to a quick lead as they were hammering the undersized Nighthawks in the paint with layups, ultimately scoring 62 points in the paint for the game. The Dragons would go on to never trail in the game and increased the lead to as much as 31 in the contest.
Deven Richmond (Bowie, MD/DeMatha) led the way with 20 points followed closely by
Daeshawn Eaton (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) with 18.
Michael Gray (Glendale, MD/Bowie) scored 15 with
Christian Matthews (Clinton, MD/National Christian) and
Joel Webb (Forestville, MD/Wise) each adding 11 points each as 12 different Dragons scored points in the game.
The Dragons will stay at home to host a dangerous Garrett College Lakers team on Saturday, February 8th at 3 PM.
