On Wednesday, September 29th, both Rocket League teams took to the pitch and started their Mid-Atlantic Esports Conference (MAEC) season. Team 1 started strong with a 2-0 match over the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams with Logan Ghandi (Columbia, MD/Atholton) making great plays in both games to get the win. Both teams had matches scheduled against George Washington University and were both able to secure their start to the season with victory. On Thursday, Team 1 took on the Durham College Lords and were able to maintain their undefeated season so far in the NECC.

Saturday afternoon kicked off the MAEC season, as they played their placement matches for the regular season which will fully kick-off on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at noon.

Summoners Rift welcomed Team 2 of the League of Legends squad as they took on New Jersey City University for their first NECC match-up of the season. The Drags came out to a strong start taking the first game thus enabling them to win the match 2-0. Team 1 had their classic match-up against rivals Newberry College where they fell in a 0-2 match taking them to a 1-1 record in their NECC season.
