Bel Air, MD - Harford Fighting Owls forward Kye Williams scored three goals and assisted on another to lead his team to a 4-2 victory over the Howard Dragons.
Williams scored in the 4th minute and hit in his second in the 27th minute to get the Fighting Owls ahead.
Evan Doten (Costa Rica/River Hill) was able to pull one back as he picked up the ball on the edge of the 18 yard box and made a strong turn a shoot into the bottom corner.Â
The Fighting Owls continued to press forward and Williams completed his hat trick in the 55th minute before assisting on a goal just three minutes later to put the game out of reach for Howard.
Nauan Rubio-Martiniz (Beltsville, MD/High Point)Â was able to pick up a consolation goal for Howard, his second of the season, with
Brandon Ruano (Columbia, MD/Laurel) getting credited with the helper in the 86th minute.Â
Gabriel Viteri (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) made seven saves in the contest, tying a season high for him in the losing effort.Â
The Dragons will look to get back to their winning ways when they travel to Prince George's on Thursday, October 7 at 5 PM.Â
