Columbia, MD - A second straight blowout first half led the Dragons to winning their 22nd consecutive game at home as they defeated Christendom College 95-51.
Howard led by as much as 38 in the first half as the Dragons piled on the defensive pressure and fast break scoring. Leading 57-22 at halftime, Howard CC was able to comfortably ease their way to a fourth straight win.
Daeshawn Eaton (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) led the way with a triple-double, scoring 13 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists in just 22 minutes of play.
David Garey (Gaithersburg, MD/Hargrave Military) scored 18 points on 7-11 shooting from the floor while
Koby Baptiste (New Carrollton, MD/Parkdale) and
Cole Harshman (Baltimore, MD/Dulaney) each chipped in 13 points.
DJ Tucker (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge) added 11 points in the paint while
Steve Doar (Juba, South Sudan/Minnesota Prep) swatted away five blocks in the game.
The Dragons will next host another out-of-state opponent as Richard Bland heads north from Virginia on Tuesday, January 18 at 7 PM.
