Columbia, MD - DJ Tucker (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge) pulled down 22 rebounds and commanded the paint on both ends of the court as the Dragons made it 27 consecutive wins at home, defeating the Allegany College of Maryland Trojans 90-61.

Allegany came out of the gates hitting shots as they took the Dragons by surprise with an early 14-8 lead. The Dragons responded back with a 17-0 run with Tucker scoring inside and long range shots from David Garey (Gaithersburg, MD/Hargrave Military) and Cole Harshman (Baltimore, MD/Dulaney). Daeshawn Eaton (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) was able to slice his way through the Allegany defense over and again as the Dragons were able to build up a 42-28 first half lead.

The Dragons continued to control the tempo of the game in the second half as they were able to rotate in their deep squad to see out another dominating home performance.

Eaton scored with seemed like an effortless 23 points, but the big play of Tucker was the real story with 15 points, 22 rebounds, along with three blocks and three steals. Garey chipped in 13 points and a team high for assists while Harshman and Ardie Dorsey III (Capitol Heights, MD/Largo) added eight each.

The Dragons will have no time to rest as they travel to Philadelphia to take on Harcum College on Saturday, February 5 at 2 PM.  The two teams met in the Cecil Mixer back on November 20 with Harcum emerging victorious 80-53.
