West Windsor, NJ - The Dragons traveled to New Jersey and took care of business against Mercer County in a 22-3 rout.
Howard controlled possession in the first half and lead 12-0 at halftime with eight goals in the first quarter.
Max Bruno (Ellicott City, MD/Howard) scored a first quarter hat trick and Chris Petersen made seven first half saves before giving way to
Alan Covert (Ellicott City, MD/Mount Hebron) to finish out the game in goal.
Kaden Brennan (Kingsville, ON/Kingsville District) put up a season high four assists, leading the Dragons with six points while Bruno finished with four goals and an assist.
Philip Petersen (Vail, CO/Eagle Valley) added a hat trick along with three point performances from
Caleb Tatum (Kingswood, TX/Kingswood),
Tyler Stratemeyer (Sykesville, MD/Liberty) and
Zane Dalpe (Belle River, ON/Saint Anne).
The Dragons will return home for their regular season finale on Saturday, April 23 where they will take on the #8 ranked Delaware Tech Hawks at 1 PM.
