Dragons Kick-Off 2022 Season

Columbia, MD - The Howard Community College men's soccer team kicks-off their 2022 season on August 24 as the nearby rivals from CCBC Catonsville come to the Dragons Lair for the season opener.

The Dragons finished the 2021 season at 10-7, making it to the the Region 20 championship game where they fell to top seeded CCBC Essex 3-0. Howard returns eight players from that strong team as they look to build on recent successes in a highly competitive region.

After hosting the Cardinals, Howard will hit the road as they face Brookdale and Nassau on a long weekend trip north before returning for three straight home games against Northern Virginia, Harford, and Cecil. Two more tough away games against Montgomery and Potomac State are followed by another trio of home games with Chesapeake, Hagerstown, and Roxbury coming to Howard.

Howard's final home game of the regular season is slated for October 6 when Prince George's comes to town before the final three games all going on the road. The regular season finale will pit the Dragons against the preseason nationally #2 ranked CCBC Essex Knights on Tuesday, October 18.
