Columbia, MD - Howard moves to 1-3 on the season, after falling to the Raptors of Montgomery College 3-0 (8-25, 12-25, 15-25) Tuesday evening at Hammond High School.
During set one, the Dragons found themselves in an early deficit against the Raptors. And unble to recover, Howard ultimately ended up dropping the opening set 25-8.
Heading into the second, the Dragons sought out energy from each other and the crowd, in hopes to push back against the Raptors. But a number of unforced errors spelled disaster once more, and Howard dropped the second set 25-15 to fall behind in the match two sets to none.
Montgomery College ultimately kept control of the ball on their side, and used Howard's errors to their advantage in the third. Completing the sweep with a victory, the Dragons came up short with a final score of 25-15.
