Columbia, MD - After a fantastic run for the Howard CC men's lacrosse team, Lukas Rozen was able to take home some well deserved hardware as he was named the NJCAA Region 20 Men's Lacrosse Player of the Month for March 2026.
Rozen has been the model of consistency on attack, helping to lead the Dragons to a 5-1 record in March as Howard CC was named as the #1 ranked team in the NJCAA. The Dragons earned wins against nationally ranked opponents Onondaga, Nassau, and DuPage during the month, with their lone loss in March coming in a double overtime thriller against then #1 ranked Harford.
Rozen scored multiple goals in every game of the month, tallying at least four points in all six games. His six goal, seven assist showing against Hudson Valley helped the overall numbers, but scoring hat tricks against Harford and Onondaga really showcased his contributions to the team. He also scored the late game winner against the College of DuPage as one of three game winning goals he accrued in the month.
Rozen currently sits in third for points (49) in the NJCAA for the entire season and is tied for second in the NJCAA in assists (24) with his teammate
Logan Foust (Ellicott City, MD/Mt. Hebron); his 25 goals also has him in the top 10 nationally.
His season so far is highlighted by his reliability, as he has scored multiple goals in all eight games this year while also having very few turnovers on the season. Rozen and the Dragons will get a chance to go up against regional foe Anne Arundel before closing out the season against rivals CCBC Essex.
