Columbia, MD - The Howard CC League of Legends Gold Team went up against a top heavy Newberry College team that defeated the Dragons 2-0.

The Newberry jungler was a menacing Hecarim as he terrorized the whole field of battle, leading the way with 23 assists on the teams 35 eliminations in game one. The Dragons jungler Minh Dang (Laurel, MD/Laurel) got out to a strong start and led Howard with nine eliminations, but Howard was overwhelmed in the end.

Game two was much of the same as Newberry dominated the Dragons 30-6 on eliminations with Howard unable to gain any momentum in the 25 minute battle.

Howard Gold will look to get back to their winning ways as they take on Upper Iowa University on October 1 at 7 PM.
