Columbia, MD - Montana University jumped out to a fast start and didn't let up as they downed the Dragons' Team 2 in straight sets.

The Dragons were shutout in round one 5-0 with Oscar Minota (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) coming up with five saves for Howard. 

Howard held the Grizzlies scoreless for 3/5 of the second round before finally conceding a goal which opened the flood gates for three more goals despite three saves by Matthew Peck (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial).

Montana scored the first three goals of round three before Peck put in the Dragons' first goal of the match on a Minota assist, but Howard fell 5-1 in round three and 3-0 in the match.

Team 2 falls to 1-1 in conference play as they prepare to take on their fellow Dragons on Team1 on Friday, October 2 at 8 PM in a match that will be broadcasted by the NECC.
