Columbia, MD - In the first Esports match of the spring season, the Rocket Leaguers of Howard CC swept the Fresno State Bulldogs 3-0. Howard goes to 1-0 in the META Invitational as one of two season long competitions that the Rocket League team will compete in for the spring.

The Dragons jumped out to an early lead in game one as Logan Ghandi (/) dominated, scoring or assisting on all six goals for the Dragons in a 6-3 win with Akaash Patel (/) close behind with two goals and three assists.

Howard was able to pitch a shut out in game two with a 3-0 win with Patel scoring two goals with an assist. 

Game three was a a close battle with the two teams exchanging goals back and forth before team captain Jeremy Hotchkiss (Columbia, MD/Long Reach) put in the game winning goal late to give the Dragons a 4-3 win,

The Dragons will get back to it on Tuesday, February 9 as they take on Juniata College at 5 PM in the New England Collegiate Conference spring season opener.
