Salisbury, MD - Howard Community College's men's cross country team put together their best performance of the season on Saturday, finishing fifth overall at the Don Cathcart Invitational.
Facing tough competition from around the Northeast, the Dragons had all five runners crack the top 50 at races' end. Leading the way was
Ryan Thibaudeau (Fulton, MD/Reservoir), who finished 14th overall with a time of 29:10.90. Thibaudeau's performance was the best individual finish of the season for the Dragons.
Fellow sophomore
Brandon McMillen (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) finished second among the Dragons and 32nd overall, posting a time of 31:28.70.
Pedro Egudu (Ellicott City, MD/Howard) and
Daniel Warner (Mariottsville, MD/Marriottsridge) both cracked the top 50 with new personal records, while
Oluwayanmife Osinubi (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) set a season-best time.
The Dragons have just one meet left before the Region 20 Championship. They'll next head to Goucher for the Coach Caslin Classic on Friday, October 11.
