Hutchinson, KS - The 2024-25 athletic season came to a close last weekend as the Howard Community College Dragons headed to Hutchinson, Kansas for the NJCAA National Track & Field Meet.
The Dragons' sprinters participated in four events, setting several new personal records in a packed weekend. The meet marked the final appearance for sophomore runners
Divine Rice (Columbia, MD/Long Reach) and
Iyona Davis (Annapolis, MD/Annapolis).

Highlights
- Divine Rice (Columbia, MD/Long Reach) set a personal record in the preliminaries for the men's 100m dash, finishing 28th overall with a time of 10.65.
- Iyona Davis (Annapolis, MD/Annapolis) came home 34th overall in the women's 100m dash with a 12.72, and 33rd overall in the women's 200m dash with a 26.34.
- Matthew Calinda (Hanover, MD/Meade) finished 44th overall in the men's 400m race, finishing with a time of 48.99 seconds. Aiden Moore (Beltsville, MD/St. Vincent Palotti) was 46th overall with a time of 50.59 seconds.
