Columbia, MD - A fantastic season by star sophomore midfielder
Kristen Ogle (Sykesville, MD/Century) was recognized by the conference as she earned first team All-Conference honors. She was joined by teammates
Emily Delaney (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville),
Marielle Henriquez (Laurel, MD/Reservoir),
Viktoria Konzmann (Germany/Friedrich-Schiller),
Sandra Naylor (Elkridge, MD/Mt. DeSales) and
Maddie Reeser (Sykesville, MD/Century) to earn All-Conference awards.
Ogle led the conference with 29 caused turnovers, was second with 39 ground balls on the year while also adding a team leading 26 points with 39 draw controls. Ogle was a leader on the team throughout the season with her work ethic providing the heart beat of the team.
A quartet of Dragons made the second team including defenders Delaney and Konzmann who anchored the back line for Howard all year long. Naylor led the team with 19 goals and 40 draw controls while Henriquez was second on the team with 17 goals while leading the team with seven free position goals. Reeser earned honorable mention thanks to her 10 points and 25 draw controls on the season.Â
